GO causes woe in Agincourt
Early morning whistle blasts irk residents

A Scarborough resident is tired of being blasted out of bed by a GO train whistle five mornings a week.

And although the city has filed a resolution to put an end to the whistle sounding by the summer, that's not soon enough, he said.

Robert Exley, who lives on Midland Avenue, three blocks from the Agincourt GO station at 4100 Sheppard Ave., said the blasts start at 6:42 a.m. and wake up "well over a 1,000 people" in the area.

"The problem has become worse over the last four or five months," said Exley, who has lived in the area for
