Since moving to the Agincourt neighbourhood, City Councillor Mike Del Grande has been active in the community. One of Mike’s recent efforts was the Chester Le Community Corner, which is part of Community Housing. They recently received funding and a house to act as a local community centre for the residents with activities such as cooking classes for women, use of computers and activities for children. 
However, the grounds surrounding the house are a mess. It is uninviting and does not fit into the neighborhood. The community feels under valued and is not motivated to use the facility.

The community wants to take pride in the center, but feel like they have been neglected.

GREEN FORCE with Jim and Chris Peters and York Downs Garden Center will make a deal with Mike and community if they are willing to help to create programs that would include utilizing the grounds surrounding the community center, then Green Force will help create a outdoor space that will be inviting and beautiful.
